These pots came after the GrainWare series and are chronologically the “adolescent” stage in the reinvention process of my current functional vocabulary. Some pots are monochromatic and others are decorated. Both form and decorative imagery was inspired by observations of my domestic setting (bricks, hard wood floor, toys, wood grain, rattles/clutch toys, cribs, spoons). Some work is fired in a gas (reduction), wood, or soda kiln as I have equal loves/hates of all firing methods.
